Col. Edward J. Steptoe Memorial Obelisk

This is the memorial dedicated to the American and Nez Perce soldiers, scouts and officers who perished during the fight. It was erected in 1930. While the plaque honors the allied American and Indian force, it fails to honor the Spokan, Palus, and Coeur d'Alene warriors who died in battle.
